Reality

An example of strategy in life is the issue of balancing the various contrasting elements. Whether it is morality indicative of good or bad, eating healthy or consuming death, or anything with two opposing sides, there must always be a balance of the two extremes. Managing this fundamental aspect of living provides a strong foundation from which many goals can be approached and achieved.

The importance of viewing things with an empty mind when attempting to adapt to environments and situations should be emphasized. If the mind is in a state of prejudgment, assumption, or emotional bias, for example, there will be lingering difficulty in taking steps toward the goal at hand. Instead, all thoughts and ideas must be drawn from a blank, and practitioners should avoid self-inhibition.

Strategy such as this is used to account for variables that cannot be predicted. Unlike other disciplines where strategy is key, life itself cannot always be limited to fixed outcomes, so practice should be accordance with the situation and environment.

Once adaptation has occurred it is necessary to maintain the aforementioned state of mind to assimilate the details of the environment and its inhabitants. Details such as these provide advantages in completing goals that require external factors, and the ability to manipulate strategies depending on the type of factor can achieve desired results consistently.
